PASS CONTEMPORAINE DE NÎMES

Some projects of the exhibition “La Fleur et la Force” are only accessible upon presentation of the Contemporaine Pass of Nîmes (which includes all museums, Le Sémaphore cinema, and the Chapelle des Jésuites), available for purchase at the Tourist Office information desk or online for 10€, with various discounted rates and free options*.

Admission to the Contemporaine de Nîmes is also free on the opening weekend (April 5-6-7, 2024), and during the nocturne on June 22, 2024.

INFORMATION DESKS

Two information desks are available to visitors throughout the event:

• MAIN INFORMATION DESK – CARRÉ D’ART LOBBY
  Open Tuesday to Sunday, 10 am to 6 pm. Closed May 1st.

  Open daily from 9am to 6pm.

REST AREAS

Rest areas are available in all three “Houses” of the Contemporaine, where you can take a break and relax during your visit.

* Conditions for free admission: 

• People under the age of 26
• Holders of the seniors pass (issued by the Nîmes CCAS)
• People receiving minimum social benefits
• Job seekers
• People with a disability and their carers
• Holders of ICOM cards, national lecturers or national, regional, local and auxiliary guide-interpreters, heritage conservators and holders of Ministère de la Culture cards
• Journalists
• Teachers of fine arts, art history and architecture
• Teachers from the 1st and 2nd levels of the French National Education system working on preparatory visits
• Holders of the Nîmes Museums membership or Nîmes City Pass
• Members of AAMAC (Association des Amis du Musée d’Art Contemporaine de Nîmes)

Access to the Contemporaine de Nîmes is also free during the opening weekend (5-6-7 April 2024), and during the nocturne on June 22, 2024.

For school, after-school, socio-cultural and medico-social groups:

• Free admission for groups of children from schools or colleges in Nîmes, the surrounding area and the Gard region during the Contemporaine de Nîmes.
• Free admission for groups of children from recreation centers, socio-cultural and sports centers, associations and social, medical, medico-social and educational establishments in Nîmes.

Free admission for all these categories is subject to presentation of valid proof of entitlement.
