Jardins de la Fontaine

The Jardins de la Fontaine are located in the heart of the city of Nîmes, on a 15-hectare site. Europe’s first public garden, it is composed of two landscaped architectures: a classical 17^th-century garden and a Mediterranean landscape garden. Its creation began in 1745 at the request of Louis XV.
