Fine Arts Museum of Nîmes

Built between 1903 and 1907, the Fine Arts Museum of Nîmes houses a collection of 3,800 works presented in a chronological and geographical layout. The atrium features the major canvases from the cycle of the story of Mark Antony and Cleopatra, painted by Charles Natoire in the mid-19^th century. The upper gallery houses Italian paintings from the 14^th to 18^th centuries, as well as Flemish and Dutch paintings from the 16^th and 17^th centuries, and French paintings from the 17^th century.
