On June 21, 22 and 23, 2024, come and enjoy the Contemporaine de Nîmes one last time, and discover Mohamed Bourouissa’s block party on the forecourt of the CACN – Centre d’art contemporain de Nîmes.
PROGRAM
Each event listed below is free and open to the public, without prior reservation, unless otherwise indicated.
FRIDAY JUNE 21
- From 10am: Visit of the exhibition “La Fleur et la Force”. On presentation of the Pass Contemporaine de Nîmes, see details here.
- Da Storm from 7pm to midnight on the Place de la Maison Carrée: dance battles and concerts by Myra and La Valentina.
SATURDAY JUNE 22
- From 10am: Visit of the exhibition “La Fleur et la Force”. Upon presentation of the Pass Contemporaine de Nîmes, see details here.
- 12pm-7pm: “La Kermesse”, with artist Mohamed Bourouissa and young artists associated with structures and residents of Pissevin-Valdegour.
- 2pm: encounter with artist Won Jy at On/Off as part of his solo exhibition “Extra-muros”.
- 8pm-midnight: “La Veillée”, a free opportunity to (re)discover the exhibition “La Fleur et la Force” and the projects of participating structures.
- 9pm: carte-blanche screening of Rayane Mcirdi’s film La Promesse, followed by Hirokazu Kore-eda’s Une Affaire de famille (2018) at Le Sémaphore cinema.
SUNDAY JUNE 23
- From 10am: Visit of the exhibition “La Fleur et la Force”. Upon presentation of the Pass Contemporaine de Nîmes, see details here.
- 1pm-4pm: Nîmes s’illustre Festival launch banquet in the Hôtel-Dieu courtyard, with Sétoise chef Micky Backam. For reservations, click here.
- 4pm: screening of Rayane Mcirdi’s film La Promesse at Le Sémaphore cinema. On presentation of the Pass Contemporaine de Nîmes.
