As a filmmaker of the disappearance, Valentin Noujaïm stages political and fantastical tales. His research revolves around three main themes: improvised lives, compressed lives and vanished lives. His strange and marvelous universes are nourished by the experimental aspect of the format of his films, mixing archives, Digital Video, 8 mm, digital and special effects.
