Born in 1993, Uèle Lamore is a French conductor, composer and arranger. In 2020, she was one of 21 female conductors in France. She studied at Boston’s Berklee College of Music, graduating in composition and conducting, before returning to France to found the independent orchestra Orage. She has collaborated with numerous artists, including Agar Agar, Grand Blanc, Étienne Daho, and Theo Crocker, with whom she worked on an EP in 2022. In 2020, she released her first album, “Loom”. She also arranged and co-composed Thylacine’s symphonic album, released in 2024, with whom she performed at the Philharmonie de Paris in 2023 with the Orchestre national d’Île-de-France. Uèle Lamore is also a film music composer. She has composed the soundtrack for Aïssa Maiga’s “Above Water” (winner of best documentary soundtrack at the 2022 CSDEM Music Creation Awards), and for feature films such as “The Apology”, directed by Alison Locke, or “Riposte féministe”, directed by Simon Depardon and Marie Perennès, as well as short films and animated features. In 2023, she composed the music for the opening ceremony of the Series Mania international festival in Lille for the second time.
