Delphine Dénéréaz
Born in 1989, Delphine Dénéréaz is a French textile artist who lives and works in Villedieu in the Vaucluse. She holds a master’s degree in textile design from La Cambre (Brussels). In 2018, she presented her first solo exhibition “Endless Summer” at the Mucem (Marseille). In 2022, she was a guest artist of the Villa Noailles, which held two solo exhibitions at the Ancien Évêché in Toulon and in Hyères. In 2023, she had a solo exhibition at the Collection Lambert in Avignon, entitled “Bienvenue à Delfunland” [Welcome to Delfunland]. She has also taken part in a number of collective exhibitions, at Atelier Vé (Marseille), Docks Dora (Turin), La Marchande des 4 saisons (Arles) and LaVallée (Bruxelles). As a weaver, her work is based on the technique of lirette weaving, which she interprets with the visual culture of younger generations, often using domestic fabrics that she salvages.
